The Deosai National Park is located between Kharmang, Astore and Skardu in Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Pakistan. It has an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above sea level, making the Deosai Plains the second highest plateau in the world after Changtang Tibetan Plateau.

Itinerary
- Day 01: Arrival at Skardu (7400 ft.) pick up at airport and check at Hotel
- Day 02: Leave for Kachura Valley (8200 ft.) by jeep (40 km from Skardu). Drive to Stakchan (9300 ft.) and Shagharthang (10000 ft.) villages (8 to 16 km respectively from Kachura). Camp at Bulcho hut (10000 ft.).Leave for Kachura Valley (8200 ft.) by jeep (40 km from Skardu). Drive to Stakchan (9300 ft.) and Shagharthang (10000 ft.) villages (8 to 16 km respectively from Kachura). Camp at Bulcho hut (10000 ft.).
- Day 03: Trek through Dongra Valley (10000-12000 ft.) halt at Chunda pasture hut (12 km) Camp
- Day 04: Trek towards Deosai (12 km). Camping after trek of 6-8 hours
- Day 05: Trek towards Bara Pani (Deosai 13300 – 14800 ft.) or towards Burji La (10 km). Camp at Bara Pani (14100 ft.) or Burji La (13800 ft.).
- Day 06: Rest Day. Brown Bear sighting, fishing, tracking wolves.
- Day 07: Start trek towards Ali Malik pass (8 – 12 km), Camp at Ali Malik pass (13800 ft.)
- Day 08: Trek (or drive you prefer) towards Skardu (32 Km) Tea/dinner at Sadpara Lake)
- Day 09: Visit to Skardu Bazar Evening visit for Kharpochu.
- Day 10: Depart for Islamabad.
